Muffy and her Dad Rusty

Muffy arrived just in time for Summer! Muffy is a new addition to the home, and this family could not be more thrilled! Muffy is a 7 month old Malti-Poo (which is a Maltese mixed with a poodle). She is one of the growing designer breeds that include a combination of two favorable breeds. The Maltese is small, has a beautiful coat and is considered a pocket pet and a poodle is known to be hypo-allergenic, small and a great companion pet. The combination is great and as you can see, adorable! These pets require regular grooming visits, dental care and anal gland evaluation as maintenance. Overall they are great pets. Muffy just returned from a family vacation and did well for the car ride. I think Muffy is a keeper for this family and we are grateful to be the family veterinarian and to have Muffy and her Dad as our feature for this month.
